Volleyball Problems

when your coach ends the drill and you were next in line
when you dribble the ball for serve and it bounces off your shoe
when the line judge calls it in even though you were standing on the line
when your team mate shanks the pass and it bee lines for your head
when the server hits you in the back of the head with the serve
when the set gets lost in the lights and you can’t see so you swing and miss
when you trip transitioning to hit
when you celebrate because you think you scored but you were called in the net
when parents start yelling at you while line judging for a call you made
when the ref consistently makes calls against you but not the other team
when you put your shoes on before your knee pads
when you have a bad floor burn and it’s really painful to wear knee pads
when some girl wears regular underwear under her spandex
when some girl wears a regular bra under her jersey
when some girl wears her bangs down the entire day - pin them back.
when someone doesn’t understand when you explain what a libero is
when you get blocked
when that one girl on your team has a bad attitude and stops trying
when you pay an arm and a leg for new shoes
when you can’t go on spring break because there’s always a tournament
when your school doesn’t count a three day tournament as a valid excuse
when you lose a blocking joust
when you constantly have to pick out a wedgie
when some idiot didn’t set up the net correctly
when your teammate ignores you shouting “MINE”
when you miss the serve on game point
when everyone stands and watches the ball fall in the middle of the court
when you get the perfect pancake and the ref calls it down
when people ask why you wear spandex under your clothes
when you wear spandex under your clothes to change quicker for practice
when your star player is sucking but some how keeps getting set
when you jam a finger blocking and have to keep playing
when your earring gets caught in the net and rips out
when you’re told you’re too short to play
anytime you get hit in the face
